I'm very interested in functionality that would enable time reporting. The tracking time feature is good, but there is no way to report at x cadence on time tracked.
A few use cases come to mind:
-Let's say Bob is my freelancer. At the end of the year I want to pull a report that will show me all of the time and projects he worked on. Using this info I can determine if brining Bob in house would make more sense.
-My clients request a time report at the end of each month, I'd love to be able to report on this to them. Who worked on what, how long etc.
-Efficency Analysis - from an organization perspective, I'd love to be able to look at all the time tracked in the platform and analyze where the organization can create efficiencies.
Looking forward to this! Especially being able to export reports in excel or CSV format. Also would like to see ability to download reports from the Deals section of the platform.
Can tasks be included in this update? It would be great if tasks could be filtered and exported in a more granular way. I currently cant filter tasks on the All Tasks page by Client and im unable to see or export the tracked time on each task. Can this be added to this feature update please?
Advanced reports would be very very beneficial for the non profit I am working to move over to SD. They generate reports every month on the clients they serve to meet contractual goals from the State and Federal grant funds. They have many metrics that are tracked (did they get a job, are they still looking for work, have we worked with the client lately, these are meant to encourage helping clients get off of public assistance.) it is based on the % of all the clients we are working on for the particular month. Having the ability to create advance report based on parameters.
It would be helpful if there was a reporting option to be able to see data about clients. For instance, tasks/projects by client and the last time we had a touchpoint with a client (given the calendar and email tracking functionality forthcoming).
My key use case here is I want to be able to proactively reach out to clients we haven't had a touchpoint with in a while.
Hi Mike, If I may (and because that request feature was made by me), I want to explain what would be great for Suitedash as Advanced Reports.
I actually use ActiveCollab app with my team.
What they did is quite enough, not complex at all and can be used for agencies and companies easily.

We can generate time reports based on project, people, job type. We can also filter for a specific period (last month, this month, year, specific period, and more...)
Then we can click to see the detail, then filter reports. Sort and add columns, then export everything to CSV.
This feature is quite important for companies as we have payroll to make, subcontractors to pay, and sometime we need to analyze some projects, some people's work and more.
I wish I could start using Suitedash, but without it, we can't. And it's been 1,5 year since I wait for it.
We also work with other agencies that needs proper tools to manage projects. For now, I'm embarrassed to not bring them to Suitedash for now. I wish I can soon ;)
Don't hesitate to contact me if you need more info about that feature.
I moved to SD from a $15/mo. platform called ZipBooks that handles this with ease. This needs to be added. As of now I am double-entering every timed task, then I will reconcile unbilled in ZipBooks against the accumulated invoice in SD. A simple report would fix this.
Wow that's so incredible you double enter time. I can't ask it to my 11 teammates, they will waste too much time for this. But thanks for sharing Mitch.
We do plan to build a reporting system for timers, so please allow me to understand what would work best for your use case.
It seems you are using Accumulating Profiles/Generators, which is the intention with Timers... that Timers can be added easily to the Generator, which in turn generates an Invoice on it's configured schedule/settings.
To be clear, that part is working for you, but you are needing to get that data into your accounting software so you find yourself transposing the data from one screen to another.
What you want is something you can export digitally (CSV) and then somehow import into the accounting side? or you're just after a PDF that you can print out with this data?
Please describe the perfect way it could work on the SuiteDash side?
I truly don't understand how businesses works with Suitedash without having any time tracking reports available... How do you guys pay your employees? or subcontractors? This feature needs to be done.

I need to be able to see some sort of reporting feature based off form submissions/analytics.

Reports tied to a more robust finance piece of SD. Not a fan of needing to go to Quickbooks for this.

As a travel advisor, I need reporting on custom fields as many of the fields I have in the system are specific to my industry.
