The Public API and Webhooks infrastructure have long been in the planning phase, and now the first major step has been completed and released. This iteration includes the ability to GET, POST and PUT data for CRM Contacts. Now that this phase is complete, we'll be looking to expand the capabilities of the API / Webhooks with the goal of covering the primary platform functionality by the end of 2023. As always, we'll be looking to the Community to help us prioritize this work, and to do that, we've set up a completely separate VOTE board (link below) so that every single SuiteMate can make their priorities known. We'll use the results of this voting to help prioritize the development of the API / Webhooks. We truly value your input, so if you don't see what you're looking for, please add your suggestion so that others can see it and vote it up!

We are already in the planning process with several API integration platforms and expect to establish and grow our presence with the top platforms in this category. In addition to our existing Zapier integration, these new integrations will likely include Make.com (formerly Integromat), Pabbly Connect, and Integrately.

Something along these lines is needed, I would use zapier, but it only triggers on record creation not update, so external data integrity can't be maintained.

I think a better solution would be the option to mirror the data to something with existing easy access. I would really like to use the system, and to make use of the custom fields, but if they are not available to me in my external workflows and external data repository then what can we do with any of it? Push the data to Google Big Query or MySQL and save the world writing zaps.
At the very least, give zap triggers that allows us to both create records elsewhere, and update them. Or there's no point in using the zaps.

SuiteDash please read this. If you launch a product on AppSumo it is obvious that people there buyt lifetime deals to not have to pay recurring monthly fees for software. So why you offer only zapier integration whene it is obvious that AppSumo folks bout Pabbly or similar software?

No API, No Pabbly Integration, No Integromat Integration, No Integrately Integration, Only Zapier (Fully Zapier Partner - As answered on the Appsumo deal page). This means that Suitedash is forcing its customers to use Zapier Only.

We had to rebuild our custom portal and move to hubspot because we couldnt integrate our proprietary apps without this feature. Basically this feature is a MUST have for a SaaS vendor to leverage SuiteDash.

Agreed that this would be great! It will be especially useful if it is accompanied by changes to "Companies" in SuiteDash, so that "Companies" data is stand alone (rather than being treated as akin to the data of a particular "Primary Contact").

For a wealth management firm, Suite Dash should enable rest API integration with investment platforms and data providers like Morningstar. This way, the clients and the advisers can have single login to manage their investments and view their porfolio. The platforms can send the data to SuiteDash which can show it in a nicely done dashboard. With Morningstar type integrations, the advisers and clients can do their own research inside the SuiteDash portal.

Probably the most important thing you could do. Integration platforms evolve and we can't just be restricted to Zapier.

Having API and Webhook access also means that users can build out their own integrations so that SuiteDash can concentrate on the Core functionality and not have to worry about hundreds of niche applications.
