Client task view clarity

Allow us to edit what the client sees when we assign task to them through the portal. Or simplify it by default. There is more information than needed for the client. They can adjust items in the task, or get confused with the amount of irrelevant information (to them). They just need to mark tasks as complete, comment, upload, click on a link and read the task description.

Yes - a 'task' form needs to be added to the forms section so we can modify the view. Clients should also be able to create tasks and assign to us.

Yes, please! I like the simplicity of Checklists. That is really all I need for my use case in terms of information for the client.

- Assign a list of tasks after each week/after each appointment with a client (ideally I can display this on the client's dashboard)
- a short description (+ supporting documents if needed)
- and mark as complete

I generally have very similar or repeating tasks for my clients. It would be great to simply create a pool of tasks once, and then select the ones needed for a specific client to complete this week and create personalized checklists for each client this way.

Even just the option to duplicate Checklists would be super helpful. That way I could create one Checklist with all possible tasks as my starting point, duplicate this checklist and delete/add what is needed specifically for a client and assign that checklist manually. Not ideal but better than creating a new checklist + items from scratch for each client.

Yes, I agree; I am using another system as I build this one because there is FAR TOO MUCH my client doesn't need to know on the take listing.

Yeah this would be very helpful. Currently my clients are very overwhelmed by the amount of tasks NOT assigned to them as well as the extra information with the task that IS assigned to them.

What is the tasks flow? Generally there should be two (that I can think of): Completed and none needs further action or Reassigned to Coordinator so that the task can be changed or amended with the required information. The second only because sometimes the outcomes of a task decides the next step. I dont need a generator (or any automation) but the coordinator or project leader would know what needs to be done next (new tasks created, have a meeting, etc).

Yes! My clients are getting confused, I can see the value in this request and it should be a priority. I'd love to simplify their portal experience as much as possible.

This would be so beneficial. Right now I am having to hide the tasks as it has too much information that is not necessary.
