Ability to clone any client as we are used to our client coming back for another site (We are builder project managers) and cloning a client helps us manage the same client but at a different location (Building site ) in our case.

Hi to explain more...I appreciate you can just start a new project under the same customer name. However you cannot differentiate between the new project name...meaning as a pjm Co working with Builders we work with the same clients over and again but the site name changes thus, the site managers name, contacts, phones etc . Thus the ability to simply clone a 'Master Client record) then add next to each one ...The site name is where a clone a record would benefit us and others in similar situations?

For me as a travel agency owner - I'd use cloning as a dependency factor - So as an example I enter a record for each traveler - but rather than have to manually enter each address, etc that remains the same, I can clone the original record and make the changes that need to be made. Helps me also with making sure the "family"/company stays together and I only update the difference of details.
Another example would be when I have multiple reservations (deals) at the same place and need to enter them individually because confirmation numbers are different. The cloning just lets me keep the basic info the same with a dependency so I can only update what I need. Speeds up the process for me.

Hi John & anyone who voted here, can you explain why you wouldn't just use another (different) Project and assign the same Client to the new Project?
It's not clear to us how this 'clone' functionality would be really necessary, so thanks for helping us understand more?
Thanks,
Mike

Exactly! Clone a customer record. We often work with people in the same city, country or company. Saves data entry time.
