The only way to manage/process SuiteDash files at the moment is manual. We need a way to automate file processing, whether that be via file API; or allowing access/download/upload via cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc). This is a key missing feature.
We use Dropbox and their suite of tools with backups and at teh moment we are lacking the integration in Suitedash, would be great to see this development
Integration with Google Workspace/Drive and all Google products really should be at the top of the list. There are tons of small-medium size companies using Google products, and some big companies as well.
I don't use Google Drive or Dropbox, but I do want the ability to backup my client files and messages to an external cloud storage system or download it to my own local backup device.
This is a must. We really want to be able to use SuiteDash, but for a long list of reasons our document management needs to stay in Google and be seamlessly available.
Having to reload documents because of not synchronizing is a major drawback to the file sharing model. Not every folder needs to be shared. I can embed a Google Drive Folder in a page, but my customers don't want to have to sign in to google.
Yes please, Google Drive (especially integration with Shared Folders) — assuming the SD Circles feature and Google Drive access permissions can work together.
G Suite is at the heart of my business, so for lots of practical reasons I'd really rather that SD let me use my existing file storage. Much simpler for day-to-day processes, I wouldn't have to have files outside of my existing backup strategy, etcetera.
I will add to this, if you add Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc... Please also include some DAM features too. Asset Management is highly important and the ability to parse and filter an entire drive would be nice to show clients options.
Being able to back up data into Dropbox would help with my compliance. Often times I have to download files because they won't open in SD. If the download would open and save to my dropbox instead of my desktop- this would save me some manual work.
File storage was one of the first things that turned me on to SuiteDash, but the interface is a little slow when trying to do day-to-day work. A sync with Google Drive would fix this!! This is one of the things that would be a clincher for me sharing this platform with others in my community!

Is this something that is planned? We are struggling with everything hidden inside folders and need more line of site

This is necessary for various compliance issues, backup, and day-to-day workflow streamlining. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

As always don't forget Office 365 users. Needs to sync with One Drive and/or Sharepoint as well as the Google etc offerings.

I feel like this is a must have. To backup files and remove docs in Suitedash to cleanup portals, but not lose the data.
