More Dynamic Placeholders

For example, on a client dashboard, I should be able to get their Coordinator's or Salesperson's name, image, contact info, or their current open invoice amount , next upcoming invoice / appointment, etc... For a salesperson's dashboard, upcoming tasks / appointments, number of assigned clients, commissions YTD, etc...

Hi,

I have a client that would like to automate reminder emails for the client portal invitation. I set up a schedule that the client gets assigned to after the initial invitation gets sent out. The schedule sends reminder emails to the client 2, 4 & 6 days after the initial invitation and the client gets removed from the schedule on day 10 unless the client confirms their account and logs into the portal. I would like to include in the reminder emails the client's one time login link (oneTimeLogin) link, but this is not available in the placeholders for contacts information. I noticed a short code in the email template for the portal invitation as shown in the screen shot attached, but this does not work in automation emails.

Thanks!
Michael

Here are a couple areas that would be nice to have custom field palceholders on the invoices and dynamic item settings.

Placeholders for creating Update forms a must to avoid creating repetitive forms. Also Placeholders in subject line of emails and also more dynamic placeholders in the Portal invite mail...why not?

Additionally, it would be great to get links directly to a subject item like a task, project, client, etc. I just spent several minutes looking for the task that had been updated.

I'm surprised that this isn't available. The system is designed to help people with repetitive tasks, first step is to identify which task belongs to which project/client.

Dynamic items in the email footer!
To remind folks where they know us from, in Salesforce, we use a "We met..." custom field, and have it populate in the footer of our emails. We've received many replies thanking us for having that there as a friendly reminder.

Global placeholders would be so useful. Limiting where you can use placeholders has been a pain. Also since custom fields don’t carry over from work requests to projects (how doos the person on the project know what they are working on? ) a workaround would be to allow work request placeholders to be added to project information in the project generator.

Dynamic Placeholders EVERYWHERE! There are so many scenarios to use data that has been input within Proposals, Projects, Tasks, Contracts, Emails, SUBSCRIPTIONS, and Invoices. All DATA NEEDS to be available in the title and descriptions of everything. I provide website support on a subscription basis. Some of my customers will have multiple websites that need support. I need the ability to identify the website URL that the subscription is to cover to ease the management of subscriptions for both myself and the customer to self-manage. For my use, customers will be able to add/delete subscriptions themselves but I need to know which website the subscription is for when there are multiple subscriptions.

+1 for tasks. Especially with the Google Calendar integration.

I would love to automatically create a contact sheet for new clients when they onboard. We could do this in a no-signature document and using placeholders for each user role within the organization, as well as for their coordinator. So, "Your project manager is ____ and the phone number is _____. Your Office Manager is ______ and the phone is _____." etc.

OMG Yes. If we could also add custom fields/placeholders for our organisations to act like global variables.

This now exists via "Organization Custom Fields"

I'd also love the ability to pull the list of clients related to a company, and display that on a portal page.

I would like to have as well for the mails more placeholders, e.g. for the invoice mails placeholders as Invoice number, Due Date, first name of client, last name of client,... So that I can put personalize the invoicing mail.

It would be nice to have these dynamic placeholders in Proposals as well. I need to input data in templates that is project dependent and currently I have to input that information twice as you cannot do custom proposal data and project data isn't generated until after the proposal is accepted (as it should be). But if you were able to grab proposal dynamic data in a project template, then I could input the information only once and then automatically create a project with all the correct data when the proposal is accepted. This also applies to contracts. The flow should be Proposal->Contract->project, and it should only require data input once, with all the other steps being automated.

Please make sure to have the ability to hide these dynamic placeholders. Everyone doesn't need them and the input forms will look messy for the customers who don't need these.

I'd also like to see contact and company Dynamic Placeholders inside project template tasks. Specifically inside Title and Description fields. So that, when creating a project for a specific contact/company from a Project Template / Generator, Dynamic Placeholders would show some fields from the contact / company of the date of project creation.

Yes this would be great! I really need to be able to show dynamic placeholders in Project Names and Task Names so that the client can tell what project/task is for what.
