Add items to proposals that are optional and/or required. By selecting these addons items it will change the invoice amount. It would also be a plus if you can add subscription items as an upsell.

Being able to "hide" the taxes, quantity, and discounts items.

This feature is essential and should be a matter of course. I cannot understand why it is not prioritized. Without optional items, the proposal feature is basically unusable for me. I think many others feel the same way.

Really hoping to see some progress on the soon. I have to use Quotientapp as it is the only user friendly one that I can find that offers the ability to provide quotes with Options | Subscriptions | Discounts | Edit Quantities | Log When Viewed | Valid to Date | E-signature | Ability for reader to ask a question | Create Invoice in external accounting software on acceptance.
To have just some of these features in Suitedash Proposals or Estimate would be so much better, as specially as we have the invoicing built into Suitedash

I'm starting to get the feeling this is not in the works and is way on the back burner. For service-based businesses, this is paramount to their success. Can we please have an update on this @Mike? I'm watching all the emails that come through about updates coming and watching tutorials on your YouTube channel and nothing over 2 years and no progress on this. I have spent hours upon hours setting this up to make my video production business successful but this is the most crucial pain point of the CRM.

Looking forward to see Proposals 2.0, we are also missing some of the features mentioned under this thread.

Probably the only feature I used to love from dubsado: the ability to create a "menu" list with services and send it to the client. The client clicks on the service or product they want and that automatically turns into an invoice with milestones for each milestone based on the products in the list.

Build a proposal with separate line item fees that are added based how the questions in a form were answered.

Mark Beaver
Allow for allowing the structure-based pricing to be embedded into the proposal so it can allow the client to build out their experience for our video production services offer that gives the client the ability to select what they want and it tallies it up where they upsell themselves. (Use the items you create in the Billing Settings). Then allow for that data to auto-populate into the contract we assigned and generate an invoice to be paid that allows for 50% non-refundable retainer automatically.
Hello, I see there haven't been any updates since posting this a year ago. It is 5/4/2022 now I try to be understanding but do you happen to know how this impacts my business? Business owners are hurting without this feature especially service and product-based businesses. Imagine the ability inside the proposal like Apple has on their site because they are great at it where you can have your pricing and let the customer check off what they want to customize their service experience or upgrade the product they are buying by checking off a box and it updates the price accordingly with the Structure-based pricing. I cannot believe this has been put on the back burner. This is the reason I have to keep paying to use Proposify instead of using SuiteDash which I use for the bulk of my automation and customer experience, but I have a proposal that I have invested in where the experience in SuiteDash that is doesn't compete with Proposify at all. Can someone please update us on this?

In proposals & estimates, it would be nice to allow the client to select which subscription plan they would like. This is useful in cases like website maintenance, where plans have different levels of support.

YES!! I need to purchase another software to do this, and would love to use only one

And invoices :) We rarely do proposals because our service prices aren't variable so having the ability to add line items to invoices automagically based on form response would be a game changer.
That's about as near to a checkout experience as you can get!
Will also need more features that accommodate adjusting quantity and inputting their own price.
Erica Collins
Yes please! This is very needed for my web design projects

Any thoughts on when implementation for this might begin? This would help my business so much! @mike

Hi team, Have we got an update for this feature?
I have been chasing my tail for weeks trying to solve this issue within SD. I can't find a workaround. Without this feature, we aren't won't be able to release our portal to our clients. If you could give us a ballpark timeline (Days, Months, Years?), I can pass it up the chain. I love Suitedash but, If I don't have an answer for them soon, they will force me to abandon our efforts with this platform and months of work will be lost.
Cheers, Nath
Dave
Hey SD team, can you share an update regardering the deployment of this feature? Looking forward to a response!

This is a must!

YES! I'm currently using another software for proposals, then switching over to SD for my agreements & invoices. Would be great to have everything in one place!
Sharon Nolan
Yes, if there was the option for upsells, downsells, & bump offers on both proposals and estimates that would be amazing.
Kevin L
Excellent idea - would love to see this get implemented soon.

SuiteDash Team- we need this. A proposal that isn't Interact is like a website that isn't responsive.
Eddie N
This will be the game changer. I currently create proposals/CRM work with Pluito because it has this function.

Seems very important to me. Would also be needed on Estimates.

We need an invoice “dynamic block” for pricing to create an invoice on acceptance. The current manual adding pricing that isn’t connected to the finance side is incomplete. (We don’t need contracts as an accepted proposal is a contract).
Leone Cverna
This would be great. However also making proposals to be embedded or iframed to our own websites. Where it can be used for the public like Dubsado system does
Mark Beaver
This feature is a must! This will then match what Proposify offers what I currently use instead of proposals in suiteDash
Shea Kucenski
We are switching from HelloBonsai and one of the things I loved in that program over this is how the proposal allows you to have itemized options, then the user can select which they want, or select multiple. The fact that I have to itemize what they're going to be paying in a manual table is very frustrating. Also not very pretty!
Maxine Tubbe
Yes! I'm currently paying for a different proposal platform because I need this feature and it isn't in SuiteDash.
Mark Beaver
I'm glad someone has seen my idea. Currently, has us using another service to fulfill this gap in CRM. Definitely will want to keep working smarter not harder.
Danni Green
Yes, please. This is a needed feature.

Proposals are a powerful thing. I would really love to see the break down pricing that is in the estimate (especially being able to separate one time fees vs recurring fees) feature be available for the proposals, that then can be carried forward to the contract THEN turned into an invoice.
