The option to credit assigned salesperson a fixed or percentage based commission either one time (when prospect becomes client for example) or per invoice paid by claimed client.
SUPER STOKED to see the status on this one changed to in-progress last week!
It would be especially helpful if we had the ability to associate a salesperson both the product or service level AND the client level.
We have a number of different products & services and our team frequently cross sells products & services that other members of the team wind up delivering.
If team member 1 is handling contract fulfillment on product/service A ends up spotting a need and closing a sale for product B that ultimately winds up delivered by team member 2, then the credit for the second sale should go to team member 1 rather than the sales person who closed the original contract on product/service A.
It would VERY helpful if we had the ability to track sales that way in SD.
It'd be super awesome if there was more movement on this feature than simply setting it to "Planned" just spoke with Support & they indicated that there's no intention of adding this functionality anytime soon.
Hi there, planned means that we love this idea and it has been added to our feature flow and will most likely be developed. While our support team is very knowledgeable on upcoming development (features typically marked as "In Progress") they may not know of features that are still being planned or in the early planning stages of development.
Okay, thanks for the update. I guess there's really no need to have a "salesperson" role in Suitedash until the commission functionality is built out. Most Salespeople are commission based, and few are salary + commission, so the Staff role sort of takes up space at this point.

The Salesperson Commission is needed. Please consider this on a serious note. Thanks in advance.

It's important to ensure the salesperson could be optionally credited for recurring payments on subscriptions as well.
