It currently takes multiple clicks to find a client CRM>CONTACTS>FILTERS or a project. It would be very helpful to have a search bar at the top of every page where you can enter a contact name or project name and have it pull up matching results.

I don't know how difficult it would be to add phone numbers as a search perimeter. Sometimes, I'll have a client call, and they start a long story before I can ask their name. It would be nice to type their phone number shown on the caller ID and have their file pulled up.

I also see this listed as live (fantastic!!) but do not see it on my desktop-accessed SD.

So happy to see this is live! How do we access this new feature?

I have been wondering the same thing. I don't see a search box anywhere.

There is a search bubble field in bottom right. Add a company name or client name and it brings company right up without clicking 3 things to find them. Not sure if it does more, would love to know if it does?

I would love if the search box would also search through custom fields. This way, if you have a particular customer identifier, you can just type that number or code in the box and it would search across all fields in the system for that value.

YES! at least the ability to search for a company and contact without all the clicking

The search function could be extended to all pages - eg within the LMS it would be really helpful to have a search box at the top so resources can be searched by clients to find answers (creating a resource library). Even portal pages with search functions would allow for a really useable FAQ page...

Yes, universal SEARCH box on top - like "google" type search on most websites - to search everything on the SD, including within uploaded PDF/word documents...

That would be great, but if it results an excessively processing consumer of time process, it could be implemented to contacts/ companies/employees (preceding the search with an @) and preceeding searches with a hashtag for searching tagged contents, progressively extending to different tagged content considering an acceptable / reasonable penalization of server consumption (and considering savings on clicking "canonical" menu routes, of course.
Thanks for so many and useful improvements.

I would like to request that we add the option to search for tags in the system as well across the platform

This would be extremely helpful and a time saver to just use a search box to access almost everything on SuiteDash!

Currently there is no way to search form submissions. If you have a lot of forms and receive a lot of submissions, it is difficult to relocate a submission that you're looking for. It would be great if there was a way to search form submissions from the main listing of all forms.

Yes!! A search bar in the center-top of the navbar header would be perfect! And it would be even better if there was a dropdown options menu that could optionally be used to focus the search to a specific section, like contacts, projects, companies, etc. if needed.

Would love to see this feature. Thank you

This needs 1000 more upvotes. Glad they switched this over to Upvoty, I could not link to posts directly so it was difficult to get people to upvote on things by directing them.

I like this idea and give it a +1. I would add this function to the page that serves up placeholder variables in emails, and text boxes. I literally have hundreds of placeholder variables and each time I want to use one in an email or text field, I stare at a wall of variables for minutes sometimes trying to find the one I'm looking for. At the very least, allow available fields to be sorted. Scrolling this wall of variables in search of the one is painful.
