Currently, availability slots can only be set for each day in a week but not for specific dates. This allows us to create ad-hoc availability slots.

I know Canlendly allows us to remove certain dates and also add certain dates in the calendar. This flexibility would be extremely useful.

I need to occasionally take off a full day. The only work around I know right now is to book all of the day's openings for myself. (It looks like the planned 2-way calendar integration should have the same effect.)
