A feature I had on the old feedback software was taking a deposit from a full invoice.
What this looks like is instead of creating separate invoices for deposits and installment payments, you're able to set a deposit amount to be taken at receipt of the invoice and dates for first, second, third, etc. payments.
The first bit of the request (taking deposits) is done extremely well in other invoicing software like InvoiceNinja.
Would really help reduce the amount of "legwork" in invoicing large projects.

I'd love to see the ability to add automations when a deposit/installment payment is posted, not just when the invoice is paid in full.

Not being able to accept a deposit will prevent me from switching to SuiteDash for proposal/engagement letter purposes.

It would be great if the payment schedule could be set in an Estimate so that when it's converted to an invoice the payment schedule is set.

Will there be a feature added that I can print a statement that will show an invoice and all payments made to it? Currently I have to do this all in a word document elsewhere since I cannot show an invoice less each payment listed individually and then the net balance due. This seems like this should be a very basic accounting function and an important report many people would need.
