Use SD for Internal Projects

I would like the ability to create internal projects in SD that don't require assignment to a particular client. There are internal projects that my team needs to plan out and repeat from year to year and it would be great to utilize SD for internal projects just as we do for client projects.

Soooo... Since this was changed to "Live" 10 months ago, how do we actually go about creating an internal project without the need to create a dummy client...?

Agreed! My work around is creating a dummy client for my internal projects.

Yes this would be a great feature and common sense that sometimes we need to create an internal project that we don't need to assign to a Client.

Hi Tamesha, we recommend just creating a client in your CRM named "Internal Project" ... First name "Internal" and Last name "Project". You'll just need a unique email address to do that.

But yes, we hear you and will look for a simple method to enable this functionality without a workaround :)
