Right now when you edit a contact and save those edits, you are not taken back to the contact you are working on. Instead, the system takes you back to the main CRM table screen.
Typically, I'm editing a contact's information because I've noticed that something needs to be corrected. But I'm doing this correcting before I do more with that contact, like generating an invoice, etc. I then decide to correct that information and save it.
However, right now when you save the edits on a contact you are not taken back to that contact. You are taken back to the main CRM page. Then I have to search for that contact again, find them, and then click them / wait for their contact page to load. It would be much faster if we were just taken back to the contact that was just edited.
I understand that for some workflows it may be advantageous to be whisked back to the main CRM page after saving edits on a contact. However, this is far from ideal for me and client of mine that also uses SuiteDash.
My suggestion is for SuiteDash to provide a toggle that allows the user to choose how the system behaves after saving an edit. The toggle would give you two options:
1. Take you back to the contact you just edited
2. Take you back to the main CRM page
That way the user can choose which option works best for their flow.
